The Inner Planets

When we speak of the "Inner Planets", we are speaking of the fact that these Planets are orbiting the Sun within the Asteroid belt zone. Their smaller Orbits being closer to the Sun than the Outer Planets mean their spheres of influence is more rapid, and more frequently repeated.

The Inner Planets are :

MERCURY - VENUS - EARTH - MARS

The 'Inner Planets' are considered to be "complimentary" in their effects upon our lives. They radiate soft magnetic energy more passive and sincere. They are of the nurturing assertive environmental forming energy designed to create growth.

The three planets excluding the Earth are referred to as the "Personal Planets" due their nature of assisting to develop more personal characteristics in you as an individual.

If we look at the influences each of the 'Inner Planets' have we find :

Planet Symbol Influence

Mars Motivations and Assertions Firey change. Temperament.

Earth Regeneration and Nurturing. New Growth. Positive decay.

Venus Independence and Environment. Love. Tenderness.

Mercury Intellect and Reason, Understanding. Communication of every type.

The 'Inners' breed solitude for compassionate thought so as to cause us collectively and individually to develop our lives and purposes and to reconsider our motivations, assertions and intellect so that through an independent understanding and the developed use of our intellect and ability to reason we will maintain the environment that we need for nurturing and regeneration. in order that we, as our Karmic PURPOSE ordains, come to sustain life and living in this Domain Of Darkness. We know it as the Earth.

The Importance Of The Inners Making Aspects With The Outers

Essential to the ability of Astrology to define our pathway ahead, the Aspects which the Inner Planets make with the locations and positions of the Outer Planets in a Transit Astrology Chart, give us a vital understanding for the timing and period of likely events.

When an aspect is formed between a Transiting Planet and the location of another Planet as it was in our Natal Chart, it is not alone the reading of the simple Aspect that is important. An Astrologer must determine what other Planets, in the main - what events are formed and when by orbiting Inner Planets in the Transit Chart, to define the time, even the date, even the hour of a likely event.

By calculating when a complex event of Inner Planetary Aspects will form with the Natal Aspect it is possible to determine likely events with a fair degree of accuracy.

Reading the aspects of the Inners cast against the positions of the Outer Planets, is essential in every way to "looking ahead".

That the 'Inners' radiate no warmth to us but activate our senses is by design, not accident. For our senses are those which realize in perceptions and imagination, as opposed to those which are real. These enlist in our Minds the ability to perceive and imagine, and through these that are metaphysical we can realize that which we need in the physical.

The "inners", or 'Personal Planets' when considered in an Astrological Chart sense will define the characteristics that we individually have which are a part of the process that our individual Purpose holds for us to be able through these senses to develop perception and imagination.

Applied to individual Star Sign characteristics in which the influence of these Inner Planets is felt, will determine the ability that we have in our personal character for softness, perceptive ability, imagination content and extent, and passive forces. These things which are influenced directly then by the '7 Deadly Sins', and the '7 Heavenly Virtues' in our daily life.
