When I consider the influence of Mars during my Spiritual Healing work for a Patient, I consider its Aspects of CONJUNCTION, SQUARE, and OPPOSITION the SUN, the MOON and MARS.

Mars causes sickness by the focusing the Mind on Desire, upon the "I WANT" thought principles. Through this Mars causes frustration, stress of the Mind, agony of Desire. This in turn brings tension and strain upon the stomach, thyroids and adrenals, and often spreads to the Heart Chakra as well. Healing is brought through lifting the focus energies out of "wanting" - through education of the "I NEED" Principles against the "I WANT" syndrome, and by achieving the focus energies of - "all is right".

Mars is considered to be one of the three 'Personal Planets", but my work leads me to believe that the placement of Mars between the two main 'Personal' Planets and the two 'Impersonal' Planets, cast Mars in reality as being a little of both. Mars brings as much impersonal testing as it brings any personal considerations.

Mars Energies are strong, tough and at times too unbearable. It closeness to Earth makes it magnetic Forces and sphere of Influence quite rampant and fiery.

Mars bring fiery change out of emotional turmoil. Sudden outbursts of temper, arising out of emotional stress or distress. It breeds the "I WANT" energies with us and will deal us with severe blows falling out of the obsessions that come from the I WANT fields.

Mars bridges the material reality of not getting your way and what you want at all in human life with the immaterial, the unreal, the greater fortune of being able to achieve success in the battle attributed to spiritual life. It provides you the tools of war, the aggression of the Spirit, and the shield of FAITH that you will have those things which you NEED, not those that you out-rightly just WANT.

Mars leads you to battles in your life. How often do you find yourself suddenly standing in the middle of a fight. In the midst of an argument, or in the throes of a very upsetting situation. Moments before things were different. The sudden change to fiery conditions, the instant change to a 'battle' or argument' are the trials of Mars working its torture of your Soul to insure that you are strong enough to fight adversity. Adversity not only of the material world, but to prepare you to fight the adversity of the Spiritual World and win !

Mars in the male Chart, is a benefactor of strength. It develops the warrior Spirit, the desire to fight, and the ability to win. The desire to be aggressive. The will to scheme, and to over-throw. In the female Chart it shows tenacity, the strength of courage and sustainment of difficulties. It bridges the female softness and covers it with a shroud of will-power. But mixed with emotions it creates fiery upsets and temperamental outbursts. It influences competitiveness in life, and in the male Chart drives sexual prowess and dominant behaviour.
