When doing Spiritual Healing for a patient and going first to their Natal Chart I consider the aspects made by the Transiting Moon with the planets of MARS, MERCURY, and JUPITER.

When performing Spiritual Healing with the Moon's Energies it is essential to tale into account the position of the Moon's Nodes as transiting, and the Moon's Cycles. A 'full' moon will have different Energies than a 'Quarter' or 'New 'Moon.

Aspects of the Moon place short aspects of emotional activity which when considered with these Planets will determine their state of mindful reactions conditioned upon their emotional state. "Touch not with steel that part of the body through which the Moon is transiting" is also made mindful.

The Moon determines together with the process of anima and animus the emotional nature of every Being. It establishes how we react to our world, to our associates, to stressful even un-stressful circumstances in our daily lives.

The Moon represents the physical Mother and from the location and aspects of the Moon in our Natal Chart we may tell much about the influences our influencing Mother had upon our lives in those first 5-6 formative years.

How she responded to things in her life at that time, how we responded to and with her. How we respond now, as a result of the feminine (or lack of feminine) aspects we shared with or received from our mother. How, as a female adult we will establish our knowledge of femininity, and how as a female adult we may be able to give and receive love also.

As a male adult now, how we react with tenderness and loving feelings, how we are able to see the love and feeling of another female.

Feelings are often intuitive. The Moon creates the ability to have and to understand strong intuition. Often confused with subconscious feeling, the intuitive ability is one that is created through the perceptions of trusting in love. Where as a child you grew with no perception of trusting in the love you received or the love you shared with your mother, as an adult you grew without feeling that allow you to trust in your intuition.

The Moons energy is greatly subjective and often very irrational. When we are being irrational and subjective through emotional disturbance we are unable to be intuitive in our spiritual perceptions.

Understanding the aspects of the Moon, particularly those with Mars and Venus, will help to understand the levels of the masculine and feminine responses we each have due to our 'mothers' emotional needs' and influences created within us.
